USDT
How to send USDT safely.
The biggest USDT mistake is often not the token itself. It is selecting a network the destination does not support.
USDT exists on multiple networks
USDT is issued on more than one blockchain. A USDT balance on one network is not automatically transferable to a deposit address intended for another network.
Before sending, verify the exact network supported by both the sending wallet and the receiving wallet or service.
Check four things before authorization
- Asset: USDT
- Blockchain network
- Destination address
- Amount and expected network fee
Do not rely only on the address appearance
Some networks use address formats that can look similar to users, while others look very different. Address appearance alone is not enough to prove network compatibility.
Use the receiving service’s deposit instructions and explicitly confirm the selected network.
Understand network fees
Blockchain network fees depend on the underlying network and transaction type. They are separate from the token amount itself.
A wallet should clearly identify the relevant network before the transaction is authorized.
What VaultFi does
Where supported, VaultFi keeps network context visible for USDT wallet actions rather than treating every USDT implementation as one universal balance.
Feature availability can vary by network.
Frequently asked questions
No. The receiving wallet or service must support the same blockchain network used by the sender.
The result depends on the networks and the receiving wallet. Recovery can range from possible with specialized access to impossible, so network verification should happen before sending.
